2008 Children's Book Sale
August 8, 9, & 10, 2008 The sale will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, 11:00a.m. - 6:00p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, 10:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 10, 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. Please join us on the Concourse Level of the new Central Library at 500 McKinney for some fabulous bargains! There will be a great assortment of fiction and non-fiction materials for all age groups, from the very young to teens. The books will be arranged according to subject and priced accordingly, most for $1 or $2. Checks, cash and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) will be accepted. Educators, don't forget your tax-exempt ID! Remember all proceeds from the sale support your Houston Public Library. This support helps to fund community programming, which includes the Children's Summer Reading Program and staff support.
